Oat groats porridge with nuts, fruits, and berries

A7408427
breakfast
2 people
20-25 min

ingredients

  • Oat groats – 200 g
  • Water (or plant-based drink) – 350 ml
  • Salt – a pinch

For seasoning:

  • Ceylon cinnamon
  • Fresh or frozen berries
  • Fruits (bananas, apples, pears, etc.)
  • Favourite nuts

Method

1.

Rinse the oats and soak them in water overnight.

2.

The next day, rinse the oats again, add water or a plant-based drink, season with salt, and cook on low heat for about 15-20 minutes. Once done, turn off the heat and let the oats sit until they are soft but not overcooked.

3.

Place the prepared porridge in a serving dish, add berries, fruits, and chopped nuts. You can also use freeze-dried berries, fruits, or their powders. It can also be served with fresh, baked, or stewed vegetables. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
